Fireplace Service Fireplace Service Performed: • Evaluated overall operation and condition of the fireplace, firebox, burner, venting, and surrounding area. • Cleaned viewing glass (if applicable) and reinstalled per manufacturer specifications. • Cleaned pilot assembly, including pilot, thermocouple/thermopile, and surrounding area. • Removed soot from logs and firebox as needed. • Verified and adjusted log placement to manufacturer specifications, as needed. • Checked gas inlet and manifold pressures and confirmed they are within manufacturer and code requirements. • Tested all operating functions, including switch/remote/thermostat, burner ignition, flame pattern, and safety shutoff. • Checked and replaced batteries in remote/receiver/ignition system as needed. • Performed carbon monoxide safety test in appliance area during operation.
